Assembly & Installation Policy
This policy explains what setup your trailer may need and who is responsible for it.
Condition on Arrival
Most of our trailers arrive fully assembled and ready to tow. Some models may need minor setup, such as attaching a tongue jack, spare tire mount, fenders, or side rails. Any setup required is listed on the product page.
Included Instructions
Any trailer or accessory that needs assembly includes instructions. If you are missing instructions or a part, contact us and we will send them free of charge.
Tow Vehicle Setup
You are responsible for making sure your tow vehicle is properly equipped, including:
- A hitch and ball rated for the trailer’s weight
- A working wiring connector (4-way or 7-way, depending on the trailer)
- A brake controller for trailers with electric brakes
- A towing capacity that meets or exceeds the loaded trailer weight
We recommend having hitch and brake controller installation done by a qualified professional.
Before First Use
- Check tire pressure and lug nut torque.
- Test all lights and brakes.
- Make sure the coupler is locked and the safety chains are crossed and attached.
- Recheck lug nuts after the first 50 miles.
Registration
Every trailer ships with the ownership paperwork needed to title and register it. Registration and any fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are handled through your state’s motor vehicle office.
Professional Installation
We do not provide on-site assembly or installation. Damage caused by incorrect assembly or installation is not covered by our Warranty & Replacement.
